Brazing Process

Brazing is a heat treat process that joins two or more metal pieces together by using a melted filler metal at the point of joining.  The metals being joined must have a higher melting point than the filler which allows pieces of the same metal or different metal to be adhered together. The process utilizes a brazing furnace to melt the filler metal and bond the pieces together.

The open-chamber design provides a simple, effective furnace for copper brazing.  The full muffle design provides superior temperature uniformity, reduced atmosphere gas usage, and even more flexibility in creating specific temperature profiles.
