Lindberg/MPH’s HYAM® system provides a dry hydrogen nitrogen mixture ideal for many metallurgical processes. Dissociating metallurgical-grade anhydrous ammonia into the components of hydrogen and nitrogen produces atmosphere. This is done by passing ammonia over a heated nickel catalyst which provides a dry hydrogen-nitrogen mixture. HYAM generators are available in sizes from 500 to 6,000 SCFH.
