Stress Relieving Furnaces

Metal stress occurs from steel processing methods such as cutting, machining, and forging. The heat treat process of stress relieving is a time and temperature dependent process that relieves the stresses created by these methods. An industrial stress relieving furnace is used to apply heat to a product which reduces residual stress in the material and decreases the risk of dimensional changes.
