Lindberg/MPH announced the shipment of a Treet-All box furnace to supplier of sealing products. The Treet-All box furnace is modular, stackable, and space-saving. It is ideal for tool room, plant maintenance, and production applications that require maximum heat-treating, hardening and tempering capabilities in a minimum amount of space. The Treet-All furnace is suited for multiple applications such as annealing, ashing, austempering, brazing, preheating, solution treating, stress relieving and normalizing.
The maximum temperature rating of this box furnace is 2050°F and the work chamber dimensions are 12” W x 18” D x 12” H. The work area temperature uniformity is ±25°F over the range of 1400° to 2000°F. An empty furnace can heat up in approximately 2.25 hours from ambient to maximum temperature. This is a significantly lesser time than typical operating temperatures. This furnace also features inert atmosphere capability.
“At Lindberg/MPH our experienced team utilizes designs that minimize heat loss. For this particular box furnace, we used a vacuum formed ceramic fiber insulation to minimize heat loss and provide rapid heat up and control response.”- Kelley Shreve, Applications Engineer
Unique features of this Lindberg/MPH box furnace include:
Double steel shell construction assures a low temperature outer surface
Atmosphere tight, allow muffle
Heated by retained alloy resistive elements positioned on the roof, floor and both sidewalls to surround the workspace
Double side hinged insulated plug door keeps the inner – hot – surface away from the operator when opening to charge or unload work
Limit switch for power cut-off when door is open
Pre-wired, side mounted, forced air-cooled control console
Programmable controller
SSR solid-state relay fired heaters
Excess temperature controller connected to backup power disconnect
One dual thermocouple assembly
Power circuit breaker
