New Blue M Oven Solutions
WILLIAMSPORT, PA - November 1, 2004 - In our ongoing efforts
to provide new and innovative solutions to our customers,
Thermal Product Solutions is excited to offer revolutionary
new system and solutions capabilities. The recent acquisition
of Tiros Corporation in Tempe, AZ has enabled the TPS product
portfolio to include a more extensive offering of engineered
thermal processing solutions. These certified, well proven
systems are installed within leading high technology, semiconductor,
and electronics manufacturers around the world. In addition
to new thermal solutions, these new capabilities allow TPS
to provide proven automation, integration, and product handling
& loading solutions to our entire customer base.
The following are three examples of the
new solutions that TPS now has to offer:
Blue M Vertical Oven - The
Vertical Oven provides a unique solution for high UPH, in-line,
automated capability for Customers, while maintaining an extremely
small-footprint and economical Cost Of Ownership (COO). This
Vertical Oven and customizable product Auto-Handler can accommodate
a wide variety of products:
- boats
- trays
- magazines
- other product transport systems
A true PC-controlled CIM solution when integrated with bar
coding/scanning, and site host communications link. The ten-thermal
zone vertical configuration optimizes in-line process performance
with a sixteen set point thermal profile capability for greater
thermal flexibility; Active Cooling for safety and reduced
time between operations; each thermal zone is plumbed for
inert gas purge; an extremely robust thermal processing system.
Blue M MicroBatch™ Oven
- MicroBatch was designed for the Customer with high product
mix and typically smaller lot size. MicroBatch provides the
same functionality and feature set as the Vertical Oven, with
the flexibility and scalability of chambers racked and stacked
in a tower configuration.
Customers can add:
- chambers and towers as volume ramps
- customizable Robotics to provide a completely automated
and fully integrated solution for the most demanding production
environment
Each chamber is plumbed for inert gas purge; Active Cooling
is standard for safety and cycle time reduction; best in class
thermal uniformity; and a true PC-controlled CIM solution
when integrated with bar coding/scanning, and site host communications
link.
Blue M Advantage Oven -
ADVANTAGE comes in a one or
two chamber configuration with the same features and functionality
of MicroBatch and the Vertical Oven. ADVANTAGE
can handle any low volume precision production requirement.
ADVANTAGE provides Customers
with a platform for:
- research and development
- engineering
- process development
- characterization
All of these capabilities are provided without taking the
MicroBatch or Vertical production systems off-line for these
tasks. The advantage of this capability is obvious; R&D
effort for copy exact replication in the same building.
The addition of these new technologies to our already broad
product and technical capabilities places TPS in the clear
leadership position for thermal equipment and systems solutions.
