A low cost solution for feeding granular
silicon.
- The hopper is constructed
of 300 series stainless steel, and is Tefzel coated
to reduce contamination.
- Permanently mounted
to the side of the pull chamber, and is filled via a
NW-50 port in the top.
- The flow of material
is controlled manually by an Angle of Repose (AOR) valve.
This valve is constructed of quartz to eliminate contamination.
- The standard configuration
uses a fixed quartz tube inside the furnace to deliver
the granular material.
Retrofit is Available
The Kayex Batch Feeder System can be
retrofitted to Kayex and Ferrofluidics furnaces (and other
brands).
